I’ve spent many of my younger years living a love-hate relationship with pom poms. They’re cute, they’re fluffy – you can make animals out of them! I mean, that’s pretty cool, right? Well, the downside is that I can’t actually make pom poms. I think I am genetically incapable of making pom poms. Which, when I think of it, is a bit of a white lie. I’ve seen my mum make pom poms. I think I just need to accept my own failings as a human being and leave the pom pom making to the pros.
On my trip to Melbourne, I managed to come across these adorable rainbow coloured felt pom pom coasters – being too exxy to create myself, I leapt on them with glee! I picked up a pack of 6 Felt Carnival coasters from Monster Threads – who also happen to sell an amazing range of Australian-made (and/or handmade) goods of amazing levels of cuteness! Apart from stocking their own variety of self-designed graphic tees and merch, they also sell a huge range of apparel, accessories, homewares and stationary. They also maintain key partnerships international brands, like Dylan Kendall, bucketfeet artist shoes, MOMOT paper toys and many other hyper-creative companies.

In any case, after adding these little felt pom pom coasters into my home, I’ve been sorely tempted to add way more to our abode. Worse still, Etsy is not making things any easier. Yeesh, seriously people, freeze my cards please.
